et me be clear: On average, during President Carter's term, about 26 percent of America's working-age population was not in her civilian labor force. During President Reagan's terms, this average fell to 24 percent. It fell again and remained around 21 percent during each of his three successors' terms. But during President Obama's terms, the average rose to 23 percent, miserably ending that trend.
Fortunately for America, during President Trump's first five months in office the average fell to 22 percent. We can be thankful we are once again on the right track.
