When your own vice president and fluffy lapdogs condemn you...
ou are proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, guilty. Judgment must be, at the very least, your removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States. Otherwise there is no justice for all anymore in this nation; not when, yes, we the privileged few can hide behind lies and can continue to violate, without fear, the most sacred of trusts.
Our constitutional guarantees are meaningless so long as we the people permit this abomination to stand.
"If I know every single phone call you made, I'm able to determine every single person you talk to, I can get a pattern about your life that is very, very intrusive." Indeed. "And the real question here is: What do they do with this information that they collect that does not have anything to do with al-Qaeda?" Or any other terrorist group or threat, for that matter. "And we're going to trust the president and the vice president of the United States, that they're doing the right thing. Don't count me in on that." Every citizen who still loves his freedom is saying the exact same thing.
This universal intrusiveness the executive branch now subjects us to is unprecedented. It is offensive to all that is good and decent in this country, to everything we say we hold dear. It is evil. One of the worst any generation of Americans has seen; and one that we must totally overcome and defeat before it completely overwhelms and destroys every American's life as he knows it.
"This came after the disclosure that the government was snooping on journalists." Indeed. "Also, the IRS' improper targeting of conservative groups for extra scrutiny as they sought tax-exempt status has spiraled into a wholesale examination of the agency, including the finding that it spent $49 million in taxpayer money on 225 employee conferences over the past three years." Or the finding that it awarded nearly the same amount to 24,000 illegal aliens living at the same address. "Collectively, the issues call into question not only whether the nation's government can be trusted but also whether the leadership itself can."
If, after everything you'd have to be willfully deaf, dumb, and blind not to hear, behold, and see all around you, you're still somehow able to answer "Yes We Can™ trust it," then there's nothing anybody could possibly hope to tell you that would ever change your mindless way of "thinking." No, not even this:
If ye love wealth better than Liberty,
The tranquility of servitude
Better than the animating contest of Freedom,
Go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,
And may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
You'll believe anything your Øbamaster tells you. Even this:
No more illegal wire-tapping of American citizens. No more national security letters to spy on citizens who are not suspected of a crime. No more tracking citizens who do nothing more than protest a misguided war. No more ignoring the law when it is inconvenient. That is not who we are.
Manifestly it is, now that your SCoaMFührer has fundamentally transformed our nation from one of laws to one of Øba"men"; and, yes, we can count you in on that, too.
