e need to heavily raise your taxes and spend even more money that our country doesn't have "invest" in the development of Lollipop-fed Unicorn Flatulence^® as a "clean, renewable energy source." If we do, in five ten twenty or so years yes we can™ significantly reduce our dependency on "fossil" fuels and build a green "economy" that runs totally off LUF^®.

But there are challenges.

Let me be clear.™ First, we have or yes we can™ make plenty of lollipops. That is not a problem. Neither is the amount of flatulence that is going to be produced once we start feeding those lollipops to unicorns.

The main hurdle, of course, that our country faces is the extreme Republican extremist leadership who want to extremely cut such raising of your taxes and spending of even more money that our country doesn't have "investment" in clean, renewable sources of LUF^® "energy." So if it weren't for their extremeness, we would all have an abundant supply of LUF^® by now in five ten twenty or so years.

Let me be clear.™ The only thing Republicans want to do is drill for more abiotic "fossil" fuels in places like the one very, very small corner of a desolate wasteland Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

As they were told over five years ago, any new drilling will take at least five years to make any impact on the market. How long do we have to keep pointing out this clear fact before they finally Get It^®?

No, we can't™ drill for more abiotic "fossil" fuels. Anywhere. Ever again.

Although yes others can™ in places like Brazil; and we'll tell them, "We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers." Now that's "Winnin' Teh Future" WTF!

No. Clearly the only real solution to our Energy Crisis^®, viz.—

U.S. Energy prices have risen to more than 6 percent of consumer spending — which may be a historic "tipping point." Our food prices, meanwhile, have had their steepest increase in a generation, to about 6.5 percent of spending. That's a double whammy consumers haven't suffered since Jimmy Carter's infamous "stagflation," a painful mix of weak economic growth, high unemployment, and rising inflation in the late 1970's.

is the clean, renewable flatulence we'll get soon in five ten twenty or so years from feeding lollipops to unicorns.

Meanwhile we just have to keep heavily raising your taxes and spending even more money that our country doesn't have subsidizing the use of corn as an "alternative energy source" rather than a food source.

But who eats corn anymore, anyway?
