See what happens, 52'ers Fifty-'Tarders, when you elect a "community organizer"? someone with absolutely no real executive-branch experience?
“At the end of the day, the gøvernment tells BP what to do.”
–Baracrook Øfailure's energy and climate adviser Carol Browner
I
f the globs of deadly oil — you know, the tons and tons and tons of his stuff that's soon going to be washing up in droves on our beaches and mercilessly, cruelly, and indiscriminately murdering our birds and our fish, killing our jobs, and raising our prices, and that's still gushing up uncontrollably after over forty days and nights from the sunken remains of the exploded oil rig which he gave top "safety" awards and extraordinary "safety" waivers to, all because of his extremely dangerous incompetence — now, if those deadly globs of his were communities, no doubt he and his ACØRN accomplices could "organize" them.
Or if his globs of deadly oil were, say, children of Goldman Sachs executives, he and fellow SEIU thugs could send in busloads of his rented angry mobs to terrorize those children when they're home alone.
On the other hand, if his deadly globs of oil were his health care "reform" government-takeover bills, he could ram them down the American people's throats in spite of overwhelming public disapproval (after redistributing kickbacks and other bribes to members of his party in his rubber stamp Congress so, yes, he can buy their yes-men votes, of course).
Then again, if his deadly oil globs were his budget deficits or his mountains of public debt, he could make them grow and grow until they become larger than any have ever been in the history of mankind.
Granted, if the globs of his deadly oil were bloodthirsty terrorists, he could label them "man-caused disasterists."
Similarly, if his deadly globs were Wars on Terror, he could say they're "overseas contingency operations."
Plus, it goes without saying that if his deadly oil were Nobel Peace Prizes, he could accept them despite never having actually accomplished anything to earn them.
Certainly, if such deadly globs of his oil were mad Iranian mullahs or crazed North Korean dictators, he could let them build not only nuclear weapons but long-range missiles for launching them at our allies (while disarming our side of the missile defenses we'd need to shoot them down, of course).
But if his deadly globs were his golf balls, he could putt them around on an exclusive golf course when he should be working (or better yet, use them to quadruple the number of balls that his Top Kill plan Hail Mary colossal failure was ineffectually stuffing into his out-of-control oil gusher with no real back-up plan — the same gusher he sat by and allowed a top campaign contributor of his to create in the seafloor).
Come to think of it, if his globs of deadly oil were candidates for U.S. Senate, he could bribe them with offers of valuable jobs in exchange for their dropping out before the elections (then when he's caught, and after months of non-transparency, rush to get his and their stories straight so it all doesn't sound as criminally illegal as it clearly is, of course).
Or if those globs of his deadly oil were candidates in other races, he could show up and campaign for them in order to ensure they lose their elections (then "move on" again to constantly blaming all of his own colossal failures on George W. Bush, of course).
Even better, if his deadly globs of oil were Osama bin Ladens, he could continually let them escape and remain at-large so, yes, they can come back and attack us again and again.
Of course, if his globs of deadly oil were radical islamic extremists, he could never call them "radical islamic extremists" or any other name one might think of.
But if those deadly oil globs of his were Tea Party attendees, he could always call them "tea baggers" and every other nasty name that, yes, his filthy feeble "mind" can conjure up.
For that matter, if his deadly oil globs were Arizona immigration laws, he could refuse to ever read them (but never let that stop him from going on week after week after week falsely accusing them of "inviting racial profiling," of course)
Moreover, if those deadly globs of his oil were birth certificates, he could keep the original ones locked up in secret vaults so, no, no one in the public can ever see them, while releasing only recently-fabricated "certifications" instead.
Nonetheless, if his deadly oil globs were his vacations, he could take them no matter how many immediate crises our country's now facing.
Finally, if those deadly oil globs of his were in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day, he could run away to Chicago and hide out rather than lay any wreath on it to honor their ultimate sacrifices for our country and our freedoms, especially in this time of world war.
But because his globs of deadly oil are his globs of deadly oil, he has absolutely no idea what to do and, as anyone who isn't* brain dead can clearly see, really doesn't care.
Thank you, oh, so much, Fifty-'Tarders.
* Don't worry, Fifty-'Tarders. There's not even the remotest possibility that could ever mean you.
That's Asshølefreakese™ Hopeychangese™ for "yet another mammoth display of my extremely dangerous incompetence on top of all the other colossal failures that continue to totally and invariably exemplify The Great Mistake of 2008® my alleged presidency" (see "I'm being evasive" and "I'm lying"; but don't see "I'll create an unprecedented level of openness in government and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration").
All right, so AP, the Interior secretary, members of Congress, they all knew that a key oil spill response official resigned but the president had no idea because he was busy?
Well, we thought we'd take a look at what was keeping him so busy. Now according to his schedule, he had a photo-op with the U.S. World Cup soccer team. Oh, and he also had to attend this important national security matter:
"Congratulations to the 2010 Men's NCAA Basketball National Champions, the Bluke — (LAUGHTER) The Duke Blue Devils. Give them a big round of applause."
According to (the Øbamboozler) Department of Interior’s website, BP Exploration & Production Inc. is one of three finalists for a Safety Award for Excellence, which honors companies for “outstanding safety and pollution prevention performance by the offshore oil and gas industry.”
But they're too "tired" to do it this year. (Although next year they're very, very, very likely going to be retired.)
Even supporters of Obamacare are tired of fixing it. Earlier this month, Democratic (mis)leaders in the House and Senate said they won't attempt to fix Obamacare this year. "I have said for the last year and a half that we should be doing more on job creation, and I hope that we do move on," Rep. Daniel Lipinski (D.-Ill.) told The Hill. "I don't think we're going to be doing much more of anything on healthcare reform for the rest of the year."
Wait. Wasn't Obamacare itself supposed to create jobs? Another selling point collapses.
A
nother? That cannot be!
The latest (Congressional Budget Office) numbers indicate Obamacare will cost $115 billion more than originally projected. That would make Obamacare a $1 trillion-plus law....
CBO originally predicted Obamacare would result in a $143 billion net reduction in the deficit from 2010-2019. This new estimate eliminated most of these savings, and thus the vast majority of savings the President claimed his bill would deliver.
The newest CBO finding is consistent with last month's study by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Its final cost projections for Obamacare show that, contrary to White House claims, the new healthcare law will increase national health spending by $311 billion over the next decade and will cause 14 million Americans to lose their current employer-based health coverage. Most objective observers doubt that Obamacare will save one cent.
Higher costs. Zerø savings. No jobs.
Yes, we can carve that on the fascist Øbamaladministration's headstone.
And since the Øbamacaretards' Monstrosity™ "will cause 14 million Americans to lose their current employer-based health coverage," making Baracrook Øfreakshow's promise that "if you like your health care plan, you can keep it" as "good" as any other he's ever made or will make, yes, we can add:
No major promises kept, either.
Yet rather than recognizing the catastrophic failure that is Obamacare, liberals in Congress seem content to seek political cover and run out the clock until after the elections. For the time being, Americans are stuck with this monstrous law, even as it crumbles in each news cycle.
But they're going to run our their new health care system the same way they've run the Gulf oil-spill cleanup! blamegame & fingerpointing!
Except we'll be envying the birds and fish murdered by ØbamaOil® once we're fully covered with those snakeoil slicks gushing out uncontrollably from Øbama"Care."
Looking more and more like the best solution for fixing both is outright nuking them.
That is why I think the view that this announcement [aka "promise"™] by the White House of half a billion and 1,200 National Guard is a serious effort, a serious way to show seriousness about this, is total nonsense. This is a PR stunt. It's Lucy and the football all over again.
Remember, it was George Bush a few years ago who all of a sudden there was this concern, the border states were up in arms over [illegal] immigration. So he sends, I think it was a couple thousand National Guard. Well, they come and they go. And the problem remains, and the traffickers remain, the drug people remain, illegal immigrants remain.
What we're going to have here, as you said from [Senator] Kyl, they probably aren't even going to be on the border, they might even be just in desk jobs. This is nothing but a stunt on the part of the [mal]administration to try to show that it's interested in sealing the border in order that we'll get a deal on comprehensive [immigration "reform"], which really is a deal for amnesty.
And it's ridiculous. [Juan] McCain [RINO-AZ] had an argument with Obama in the meeting. It was described as rather testy. Interestingly, McCain [RINO-AZ] who was on Obama's side of the argument three years ago is now, because of a challenge [from Real Conservative® & RINO-Slayer™ J.D. Hayworth] in his own state, on the other, on the correct side today, in which he said to the president [sic] "close the damn border." I think he used the word "dang" instead because he's a military man.
And the president [sic], of course, objected. The only answer here, and it is a simple answer I say it again and again, because there was no objection that makes sense — complete the fence. Don't send the Guard down. They're going to go, they're going to come back, won't make any difference. A fence remains. A fence works.
It works around San Diego, and that's why you've got all this increased [illegal] immigration in Arizona because it is funneling, channeling all those who can't enter on the San Diego side into Arizona.
I mean, this is an obvious issue. The Democrats are unbelievably stubborn on this. If you want to really, you want to use stimulus money, you don't send 1,000 Guard. You send 20,000 unemployed and you build a fence quickly. And once that's done, let's have an argument and a debate about legalization and all the other steps.
But that's what the American people have come to expect of him.
S
o what our constitution says that "he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed"? It depends on what the meaning of "shall" shall mean. Right? Besides, those words were written so long ago. Things have changed a lot since then. Why does anyone in office need to follow such an outdated piece of moldy parchment?
No, its words can't possibly be relevant to us today. A president should be able to do and not do whatever he or she wants.
That's what "top political strategist Woody Allen thinks (sic)": "It would be good if he could be dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly." Sounds so much more modern, relevant, and progressive.
Why then should anyone be surprised that the present occupant of the White House thinksfeels that, yes, he can keep fundamentally transforming the office of the president of the United States of America so that words like—
"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God."
can finally be relegated to where they belong — in the past — and thus be summarily dismissed?
There's really little point to taking oaths anymore, much less honoring them.
In what is developing into a standoff between states and the federal government that could be bigger than gun control or even health care, 17 states have launched versions of Arizona's immigration law, even as federal officials say they may not bother to process illegal aliens caught by the states.
Now, see? Federal officials don't have to do anything they don't want. What does it matter the constitution says, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion"?
Those officials are also getting ready to grant the invadersillegal immigrantsundocumented Americans amnesty. So, no, no one can consider them invaders anymore.
William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, which has been trying to get officials to address the open southern border for years, warned the consequences could be dire.
"Over the last couple days, Obama and the chief of ICE have refused to honor their oaths of office," he said. "Their constitutional requirement is to enforce existing laws.
There you go again wanting federal officials to do things they don't want. How unprogressive of you.
Only a backwards-thinking oaf still thinks that things like oaths and constitutions should have any meaning in this day and age.
"They've told the American public to go eat cake," he said.
Presumably because cake is good for you and for the children. We wouldn't be surprised if there's a Cake-Eating Mandate™ in their new health care law. You either eat the cake they say you must eat or get fined. Regardless whether you do, you must report on your income tax returns how much cake, if any, you ate each year so, yes, the Internal Revenue Service can keep tabs on you and all your cake-eating "choices" (and punish you for all your non-cake-eating ones).
His organization is assembling the list of state efforts to emulate the Arizona law, which makes it illegal under state as well as federal law to be in the state without documentation.
"Seventeen states are now filing versions of Arizona's SB 1070, which is designed to help local police enforce America's existing immigration laws," ALIPAC said in a report today.
How many times do we have to say this? Federal officials don't have to enforce anything they don't want to enforce, any thing in the constitution or laws of the United States to the contrary notwithstanding.
The report said numerous national and local polls indicate 60 to 81 percent of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws.
What do regular Americans know? That same percentage probably thinks the constitution and laws should be enforced by federal officials.
We need to indØctrinate them moreround them up and send them to ReeducatiØn Camps™ inform them this is no longer the case. Hasn't been for decades.
"Our national network of activists have been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill," he said. "Arizona no longer stands alone and we have now documented state lawmakers filing, or announcing they will file, versions of the Arizona bill in seventeen states! We will not stop until all states are protected from invasion as required by the U.S. Constitution."
Your imaginary friend U.S. Constitution can't help you. Might as well believe leprechauns will come pouring up over the edge of our flat Earth, hop on their unicorns, and ride in to chase invadersillegal immigrantsundocumented Americans back across another now-imaginary thing called the border.
Isn't still having states also outdated, irrelevant, and unprogressive? We'll have to ask that great statesman and renowned jurist Woody Allen about it.
President Obama several times has said he doesn't like the Arizona law.
TheLos parts of it he's read. —What? He hasn't? Not one word?
OK, we realize it's not one of those thousand-plus page bills he and his comrades in Washington are entirely used to; and yes, we know, "What good is reading thelos bill if it's a thousand pages"? But a bill that's a dozen or so pages?
Well, perhaps we should consider that reading things is outdated, irrelevant, and unprogressive, too:
He's called it misguided and ordered a review by the Justice Department.
Just imagine what he would've called it had he actually read it.
John Morton, who heads the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, said his agency might not process illegal aliens caught under state jurisdiction, the Chicago Tribune reported.
After all, federal officials don't have to enforce anything they don't want to enforce.
Not even existing agreements to process illegal aliens caught under state jurisdiction.

He insisted that only the federal government should respond to the problem.
Like it has been spendidly doing all this time. —What? It hasn't? Not one bit?
”[T]heLos House Homeland Security Committee has failed to pass a single bill to secure the southwest border since Democrats took control of Congress three years ago.”
OK, OK. Then not responding to problems should be deemedthelos much more modern, relevant, and progressive way of "doing" things as well.
"I don't think (sic) the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton said.
No, a state actively enforcing the law of the land can't be the solution. It may have been a very long timefew years ago. But not in these Modern Times™.
First off, the highest law of the land (aka thelos United States Constitution) is an outdated piece of moldy parchment that's both irrelevant and unprogressive. No, no one can require or expect any federal official to preserve, protect, or defend it, much less follow or support it. Second, even if it wasn't, thelos present occupant of thelos White House has appointed federal officials who're declaring they don't have to honor their oaths to do so, much less go about faithfully executing their respective offices. That would be too unmodern. Third, even if they had to, everyone clearly knows or should know that those same federal officials can't possibly find time to read any part of it, much less all of it, since it's a lot longer, apparently, than thelos Arizona law.
Yes, we can plainly see that none of them has bothered to read either it or thelos Arizona law.
So just how do federal officials enforce or understand something they've never read?
One blogger expressed concern that "a senior Homeland Security official has openly declared that he won't be doing his job."
"Morton has sworn an oath to uphold the laws of the United States. He is not allowed to pick and choose which ones he likes and which he doesn't."
Someone should deem blogs to be outdated, irrelevant, and unprogressive, also. —What? Oh, that's right. Someøne has.
Gheen said the Arizona law and the plans it has spawned in other states is a victory for Americans. But he said those are just battles, and winning the war will require success in elections this fall.
A "comprehensive" solution to the problem will arrive when there are enough "hostile" members of Congress to tell the administration to uphold the existing immigration and border laws or the impeachments will start, he said.
Impeachment is something created by thelos constitution. Maladministration officials aren't paying any heed to anything else created by it. Why should they pay any to impeachment? Just ask that preeminent legal scholar and constitutional expert Professor Emeritus Woody Allen, Esq. if he believes they should.
"[We need to send] to Washington a hostile Congress that is going to encircle the executive branch and tell them to [follow the law] or we'll impeach all the way down to the speaker of the House," he said.
Gheen said he is alarmed over the pending release, expected sometime just before the election, of a movie called "Machete," which reportedly is the story of a Mexican uprising in the United States.
Gheen said the message in the movie reportedly is that Americans will either submit to the "rape" of their land or else.
He said he believes the project is intended to create turmoil just as the mid-term elections draw near.
If you believe executive branch officials can ever find within themselves the courage to deem that any such movie, no matter how clearly it violently targets and racially profiles American citizens, is outdated, irrelevant, or unprogressive, then we've got some unicorn-riding leprechauns residing near the Earth's flat edge whom we want you to meet.
"There is nothing as important right now as getting [people] fully involved with all the campaigns," he said.
ALIPAC already has helped to pass some form of immigration enforcement legislation in more than 30 states. And Gheen has developed a national reputation for defeating socially progressive plans to hand out licenses, in-state tuition and other taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens.
"It is incumbent upon our states to protect American lives, property, jobs, wages, security, and health, when the executive branch fails to honor its constitutional responsibility to do so by enforcing our existing border and immigration laws," he said.
Why can't losinvadersillegal immigrantsundocumented Americans agree to follow all our immigration laws like everyone else who enters our country? What makes them so special that they can thumb their noses at those laws?
Who do they think they are? Federal officials?
If you're one of the backwards-thinking oafs still asking any of these questions, no doubt you also believe that borders have meaning and laws should be enforced. Probably even read the constitution one or more times.
Where did you get such unmodern, irrelevant, and unprogressive ideas? At your last Ku Klux Klan meeting — right after it burned a cross and lynched several dozen minorities?
When are you going to stop living in the eighteenth century?
How about taking off your white hood and coming into our post-constitutional, post-law-enforcing, post-oath-honoring post-borders era for a change?
The Arizona law, which strictly prohibits racial profiling, empowers local police to enforce immigration laws.
To monitor the growing number of states considering similar legislation, ALIPAC utilizes a public forum in which members can update the organization with news articles and other information from states where the push for an Arizona-like law is making headway.
Public forums should be deemed— Oh, never mind. You know the drill.
In Arizona's neighboring state Utah, for example, Rep. Stephen Sandstrom, R-Orem, reportedly is drafting a bill that would similarly require immigrants to carry proof of status and require law enforcement officers to check for it.
"Utah is seen as state that welcomes illegal immigrants. We almost encourage it with driving privilege cards and in-state tuition for illegals," Sandstrom told the Salt Lake Tribune. "With Arizona making the first step in this direction, Utah needs to pass a similar law or we will see a huge influx of illegals. The real issue is just establishing a rule of law in our state."
Across the country in Maryland, Baltimore's WBAL-TV reported earlier that State Delegate Patrick McDonough, R-Baltimore County, is drafting a bill identical to Arizona's. He's also planning to poll his fellow legislators before the bill is filed.
Let's review.
The constitution is an outdated piece of moldy parchment. It's long past having any relevancy.
Woody Allen loves dictators.
Contrary to popular belief, yes, federal officials can choose which laws they want to enforce or not enforce.
Information is a distraction. Believe only what dEar Leader says.
Federal officials' aversion to reading is fundamentally transforming the United States of America.
ny offense taken at the conduct of those responsible for the first image is nothing compared to the eternal offense taken at the past and ongoing conduct of those responsible for the subsequent images and more.
[Pennsylvania 12th-district Democrat candidate Mark] Critz ran his campaign rejecting ObamaCare and other liberal initiatives, and positioned himself to the right of [RINO Establishment™-pick Tim] Burns.
Should Mr. Critz win tomorrow's special election... the real question might be: Did voters simply back the candidate who sounded the most conservative? Because no matter who wins the election, it's pretty clear no one running was touting the Obama agenda.
Taken together [including RINO/D Benedict Arlen's loss, TEA Party-backed candidate Rand Paul's victory, and Demøcrook Sen. Blanche Lincoln's miserable failure to win], the results were indisputably unkind to the political establishments of both parties.

In other words, Biggest. Government. Ever.™ knows best.
The same Biggest. Government. Real personal income for Americans — excluding government payouts such as Social Security — has fallen by 3.2 percent since President Obama took office in January 2009, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis.
For comparison, real personal income during the first 15 months in office for President George W. Bush, who inherited a milder recession from his predecessor, dropped 0.4 percent. Income excluding government payouts increased 12.7 percent during Mr. Bush's eight years in office.
"This is hardly surprising," said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, an economist and former director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. "Under President Obama, only federal spending is going up; jobs, business startups, and incomes are all down. It is proof that the government can't spend its way to prosperity."...
Some 3 million middle-class Americans will be required to pay a penalty for not getting health insurance under the Obama administration's new health care law, raising questions about the president's willingness to break a campaign promise by increasing taxes on some families earning less than $250,000.
A Congressional Budget Office analysis released Thursday said the average cost of the penalty will be slightly more than $1,000 apiece in 2016....
Just before the House passed the health care reform bill, Speaker Nancy Pelosi infamously remarked "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it." It has been nearly six weeks now and we are finding out that what is in it is not necessarily good for health care....
According to a report from the federal agency that administers Medicare and Medicaid, national health expenditures will increase by $311 billion over 10 years because of the new law.
This same report indicated that individuals who purchase health insurance on their own can expect to pay an additional $2,100 a year....
[B]ecause of new taxes and fees on prescription drugs and medical devices, the agency report states that costs would be "passed through to health consumers."...
Because of deep cuts in the [Medicare Advantage] program... the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services estimate that half of seniors will lose the coverage that they currently have.
Seniors on Medicare Advantage are not the only ones who could see changes to Medicare. The law cuts $575 billion out of Medicare over the next 10 years. It is difficult to clearly identify how this will change the program, but many doctors warn that they may not be able to continue seeing Medicare patients if the cuts are too severe....
Lower personal income and higher personal costs. That's always Biggest. Government. Ever.™'s "solution."

The Democrat Violent Party™, like its registered voter the islamic extremist terrorist(birm) Times Square Bomber, threatens to not only harm but kill every child, woman, and man in America it sees standing in its way.
Our country is under terroristic attack from the racist fear-mongeringDemocrat Violent Party™ and its angry mobs.
As the very courageous governor of the besieged State of Arizona points out, "We have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act (against this terror). But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation."
So Governor Brewer signed a law duly approved by the people's representatives which makes it a state crime to violate federal immigration law, prohibits racial profiling, and requires law enforcement officers in her state to ask anyone caught committing a crime, upon probable cause, to provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful residency. The Democrat Violent Party™'s dangerously incompetent and miserably failing do-nothing Regime® in Washington left her and the law-abiding citizens of Arizona absolutely no other choice.
Fortunately for every child, woman, and man in America, a huge majority of the public support this new law; and "many polls conducted over the last few years show that 81% of Americans believe that 'local and state police should help federal authorities enforce laws against illegal immigration' — 81 percent!"
Oh, that's right. He can't bring himself to even use the term "islamic extremist" in any of his national "security" reports on… well, islamic extremists.
