Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer has shown another way back to the Constitution by signing a law which views the 2nd Amendment's constitutional right to keep and bear arms as a concealed-carry permit within the borders of her state.
While (Fascist-in-Chief) Obama treats the Constitution as a body of negative rights which justify federal expansion and intrusion into our lives, Arizona has just passed a law based on the premise Ted Nugent once expressed when he said: "The 2nd Amendment is my conceal-carry permit."
This new law allows Arizonans who are at least 21 years old and who have no felonies on their record to carry a concealed handgun on their person without a permit.
First, her people actually did something both constitutionally principled and practical about the selfish, disrespectful illegals' dangerous invasion of our country. Then they work towards so doing something about the woefully lax enforcement of all our Constitution's presidential-eligibility provisions. Now they've done so again with respect to our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
Who can oppose any of that? (Besides, of course, lawbreakers and aiders and abettors of lawbreakers.)

When the dangerously irresponsible do-nothing Federal Government Miserably Failing Failure™ fails so miserably to protect the law-abiding citizens and guests of our country, the states are left with no choice but to do it themselves.
If what the states do will save the life of even one American child or other citizen (unlike what the dangerously irresponsible do-nothing Federal Government Miserably Failing Failure™ has been "doing"), then it is well worth it and the right thing to do.

Students at a Texas college are demanding that their diplomas not be dated "in the year of Our Lord," prompting school officials to consider removing that phrase while leaving what others consider another obvious reference to Christendom — the school's name, Trinity University....
The debate began in the fall when some students noticed the wording and said it was intolerant of students with non-Christian religious beliefs.
Senior Sidra Qureshi, a Muslim student and president of Trinity Diversity Connection, started a petition that requested that students have the option of having the words removed from their diplomas.
Isaac Medina, a senior who graduated in December, told the San Antonio Express-News in March that he felt like "a victim of bait and switch" because he had applied to the university under the impression that it maintained only a historical bond to the Presbyterian Church.
"A diploma is a very personal item, and people want to proudly display it in their offices and homes," Miss Qureshi told the Express-News. "By having the phrase 'In the year of Our Lord,' it is directlyreferencingJesus Christ, and not everyone believes in Jesus Christ."

The 11 House Democrats led by Rep. Bart Stupak who dropped their opposition to health care reform mere hours before the final vote have requested $3.4 billion in earmarks — and one watchdog group wants to know whether the money represents business as usual, or a political payoff.
The Sunlight Foundation says it plans to track the earmark requests, which were put in one day after health care reform cleared Congress, to see whether they're approved and whether it appears lawmakers are being rewarded for their vote....
Rewarded with the money they've stolen from us, mind you. If we let them get away with this thieving bribery we're not citizens. We're chumps.
Stupak's office said there's absolutely no link between the earmarks and the health care bill's passage....
