Dear California Voter:
It has come to our attention that, on May 19, you voted "no" against one or more referendum measures which, if passed, would have allowed government to spend more of your its money on such useful programs as free health, education, and children services for citizens in your state.
You know or should know that any such opposition on your part to higher taxes and/or government spending is grounds for legal action against you by this Minisstry Department and by state and local authorities. Those actions include, but are not limited to, monitoring, income-tax audits, denied airline travel, household inspection by child-protection agencies, and, in some cases, arrest and prosecution for possible participation in extremist activities.
We all want responsive and accountable government. But your "no" vote(s) in the May 19 referendum elections has (have) endangered the prospects of that for everyone.
You are hereby warned that I and other officials within your my government will not tolerate any of your threats against it or its efforts. |
| SSincerely,
Janet Napolitano
