Then they came for our children's futures like there was no tomorrow, and I didn't speak up because I thought felt "set aside childish things" includes my literally setting aside their futures so, yes, I can spend all my time worrying just about mine.

Then they came for the rich, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't rich.

Then they came for private charities and nonprofits, and I didn't speak up because I didn't donate to any.

Then they came for talk radio hosts, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a talk radio host.

Then they came for the oil companies, and I didn't speak up because I didn't work for an oil company.

Then they came for automobile owners and homeowners, and I didn't speak up because I lived in public housing, rode public transportation, and didn't own a car or a home.

Then they came for all taxpayers, and I didn't speak up because I paid no taxes.

Then they came for the bloggers, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a blogger.

Then they came for law-abiding gun owners, and I didn't speak up because I was a gun-fearing wussy.

Then they came for our Constitution, and I didn't speak up because I'd been led to believe feel it was out of date and We the People needed "change."

Then they came for the conservatives "dangerous dissenters," and I didn't speak up because I was a "progressive" brain-dead liberal^(bimrm).

Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.
