...during an economic downturn, also.nd when our tanking economy forced them to choose between their Promise #1 (large government spending increases) and their Promise #2 (middle class tax cuts), BiIsIs Qlinton via TV, on the first President's Day that included him, came into the living rooms of middle class Americans — "those of you who gave the most in the 1980's" — and told them,
I had hoped to invest in your future by creating jobs, expanding education, reforming health care and reducing the debt without asking more of you. And I've worked harder than I've ever worked in my life to meet that goal.
But I can't — because the deficit has increased so much beyond my earlier estimates and beyond even the worst official Government estimates from last year. We just have to face the fact that to make the changes our country needs, more Americans must contribute today so that all Americans can do better tomorrow.
And thus he threw Promise #2 forever under the bus.
Now, thanks to DemObamarats and their choice to do nothing about their corrupt Fannies, our national debt promises to be $11,000,000,000,000 soon after the next President's Day.
Thanks to their irresponsibility and abuse of power and malfeasance, government spending already promises to increase $850,000,000,000.
Thanks to their selfish greed and vote buying and lobbyist payoffs, government spending merely to make the interest payments on our national debt promises to be $300,000,000,000 a year.
Topping all this higher debt and spending is another Demofibberat's campaign promise to give us a middle class tax cut. A promise that junior one-term-only Sen. Obiggest.Government.Ever. won't be able to keep no matter how much wealth he taxes steals from those willing to generate it so he can "spread it around" to those willing to be seductively bribed so by him for their votes.
We already fell for one "middle class tax cut" campaign promise made by a big-government liberal Demotax&spenderat liarbirm who, just weeks after being sworn in, chose to break that promise when faced with even a relatively small economic crisis.
Faced with this extremely worse crisis, are we really still so gullible as to foolishly buy that same loaf of moldy bread twice?
